My Travel Story
05.27.04Well….I flew outta Spokane ’round 8 on Sunday nite. Arrived in Vegas for my transfer….and even though I had an hour before my next flight…I kinda sat on the slot machine stool with my mind a complete blank for that whole time. I knew my gate was right across the hall…that is…at least I THOUGHT I did. When the time came to get aboard, I realized that I needed to be at gate A32, not B32.
And then that certain feeling hits yer guts. That, I’m the biggest freakin Idiot, feeling….I get that alot, so Im kinda used to it. And Vegas is a big airport, so I found my self sprinting down past the 30 B Terminals, and up the next 30 A Terminals, only to arrive as the plane was pulling away from the dock. dang it.
So, my next dilema is deciding if I wanna spend the 50 bucks on a motel room, or on the tables…. hmmm….. tables it is. Gee, that game of 21 went by awful fast. Shoulda got a motel room. dang it.
After no sleep and hating my life for 10 hours staight, 11:40 the next morning finally comes, and I get to take my new flight down to the blasted mojave desert to meet my older brother.
We’ve got the Budget Truck packed, and we’re ready to roll, two days later. Time to pull an all nighter on the road. dang it. im sick of all nighters.
And now we’re back in God’s country of North Idaho, and it sure feels good. You know, a feller in my church put it this way. “God visits everywhere else, but He lives HERE”. And I believe it.

awwwww…… POOR CHAD!!! but… you are back home safe, so that is all that matters.
