Fightin’ Words
11.26.04You media pansies may squeal and may squirm,
But a fightin’ man knows that the way to confirm,
That some jihadist bastard truly is dead,
Is a brain-tappin’ round fired into his head.
To hell with some wienie with his journalist degree
Safe away from the combat, tryin’ to tell me,
I should check him for breathin,’ examine his eyes.
Nope, I’m punchin’ his ticket to Muj paradise.
To hell with you wimps from your Ivy League schools,
Sittin’ far from the war tellin’ me about rules
And preachin’ to me your wrong-headed contention
That I should observe the Geneva Convention,
Which doesn’t apply to a terrorist scum
So evil and cruel their own people run from,
Cold-blooded killers who love to behead,
Shove that mother’ Geneva, I’m leavin’ em dead.
You slick talkingheads may preach, preen and prattle,
But you’re damn well not here in the thick of the battle.
It’s chaotic, confusin’ it all comes at you fast,
So it’s Muj checkin’ out because I’m going to last.
Yeah, I’ll last through this fight and send his ass away
To his fat ugly virgins while I’m still in play.
If you journalist wienies think that’s cold, cruel and crass,
Then pucker up sweeties, kiss a fightin’ man’s ass.

# December 18th, 2004 at 1:08 pmI see that Chad likes poetry. Me too!
Soccer mom and Nascar dad spending on the newest fad.
Chat on the cell while waiting in traffic in the SUV
Things are good, move along nothing to see
Pledge allegiance before the Game
Never mind the War It was yours, its neverending, the same
The boys get their dog tags
The unlucky come home in body bags
The quick kill he before he
Come home wounded, a little Hungry?
You get charged just a little fee
You thought you came home whole?
One night you let your mind remember a piece
You left it with your dead bud it that f*ing sh** hole.
BTW - Russ the guys who stabbed you in the back were the ones who sent you there. SOD McNamara admitted he knew that Vietnam could not be won and sent you and hundred of thousands of young men to die for nothing other than power and profit. It is people like me who brought your ass home alive. The people who stopped the War are the true heroes. We’ll stop this one the same way. Exposing the lies that started this War is the 1st step.
# June 30th, 2005 at 2:16 pmTriple A - Man, yer a horrible poet. Please… don’t do that again. Not once was anything in that poem clever, funny, or interesting.
It’s just not your forte. Thats right… I said forte.
# June 30th, 2005 at 5:29 pmExcellent poem. I know just how you feel and share the exact same views. (Funny that the other repliers do the exact same thing you wrote about, eh?)
# October 21st, 2005 at 2:42 pmThe lies that started this war… Um, I’m no expert, but it doesn’t look like too fuzzy of an issue when TWO, that’s right, not one, but TWO airliners full of US citizens ran smack-dab into the twin towers of our World Trade Center. After being hijacked by terrorists. Backed by leaders in Afghanistan and Iraq. Who don’t like Americans. Lies? Maybe to you. But the reasons are crystal-clear to me. And what, pray tell Trevor, do we do? Buy into fads? Don’t EVEN start.
# October 21st, 2005 at 9:13 pmIm not sure if I got that last post, but just in case, I meant the post by AAATRUTH once again saying that pulling out is best. Relax, I’m on your side!
# October 22nd, 2005 at 10:56 amI support the War in Afghanistan, I supported the intent of the War in Iraq, and although I have serious misgivings still support the current objectives. I unconditionally support our troops.
Now with my cards out on the table, PAM you are a wonderful booster BUT please stop alluding to the attack on the WTC/Pentagon being backed by Sadam’s Iraq… it just gives the Liberal’s and Anti’s ammunition to negate any other assertions you have.
AAATRUTH don’t give up your day job, sentiments aside that was awful.
# October 22nd, 2005 at 3:17 pmStevil - In truth, Pam is correct. She said “Backed by leaders in Iraq”… Not “Saddams Iraq”. Cos frankly…. Iraq is the cool place to hang out if yer a dirty terrorist.
# October 22nd, 2005 at 4:16 pmTrue but in the context of her comment it seems to refer to before the fact, you generally don’t refer to an action being “backed” in hindsight, rather lauded/supported/commended, etc,. The scum-bag Al-Qaeda flavored dirty terrorist’s in Iraq are sadly a mostly Post-Saddam phenomenon. Thinking about it, I wouldn’t give them the stature of “leaders” either, the real Iraqi Leaders are the current Iraqi Government.
I see so many people argue that Iraq was in someway responsible or connected to the WTC/Pentagon attacks AND that’s just plainly not supported by the facts… I feel it gets in the way of arguing our position… that’s all.
# October 22nd, 2005 at 9:05 pmWell, I’m convinced that Iraq was a harvesting and training ground for terrorists, and terrorist leaders partied there all the time. So that being said…. I say we drop a hydrogen bomb on all of iraq.
# October 22nd, 2005 at 9:47 pmScrew ‘em all, we can drill through glass!
# October 23rd, 2005 at 5:04 amGit some!!!!!! Some times rendering aid means putting ‘em out of your misery, and securing area requires ELIMINATION of any hostile elements!!!!!
