Pass The Ammo

My buddy Krunk just got a letter from his cousin who going to be a ranger. I figured I’d post it.

Now why haven’t I received any mail from you a–hole! Out of all the people I expected to receive something from you!

So what’s been going on back home? How are your classes? Good I hope.
The ARMY LIFE has its up’s and downs. Its ups are the weapons, M-16A4’s, M240-B, M249 SAW, AT4 Rocket, Claymores, M203, and the bayonet. Its downside 12 mile road marches. Food. PT tests, weather, did I mention food?

Well — Today I volunteered for Airborne Ranger! I met the standards with a 250 I ran 2 miles in 14.23. If I get ranger, I won’t any action for about a year and a half. I don’t make it then I’ll se action in maybe a month once I get in my unit. The weapon I’ll get stuck with probably is the M240-B it’s a 7.62mm (308 Winchester) 28lb beast. It replaced the M60. I miss the late nights where I just show up. Ha. You know how bad I feel knowing you can’t join and that it makes me feel like sh–. You are the toughest mother b—- (that’s something the drill S. always say) I know and there is nobody like you. I would rather have you by my side. Today I got all my class A’s B’s and Berets today, I don’t really like them all that much.

Tomorrow we start our Bivwac, fun stuff; we also get to qualify with out new laser system called CCO (close combat optic) cool sh–. Well I have to go shine my boots.
