More On Cindy
08.31.05As if Dubya coulden’t get any worse. Now he’s summoning the gods to bring down Katrina upon us.
At the start of her little trek, folks could reasonably feel sorry for her loss. But she pretty much threw all that right out the window, when she opened her big stupid yapper.
I think all of us get the hint that she’s just a wack job, and that America just… well…

First of all excuse me for my bad American (I’m Italian).
I don’t want to provoke you, I just want to understand your point of view and I would like to ask you what do you think about what’s going on in New Orleans: do you think that haveing a large availability of guns it’s better anyway?
(I know that it seems like a M. Moore’s declamation, but I’m only curious: I came from a different country and I want to understand some things of America that are far away from the European way of thiking..)
(PS I vote for the left in my country, but I agree with you that M.Moore is dishonest)
# September 1st, 2005 at 9:36 amIf you are talkin about the national guard troops that are in Iraq we dont need them in New Orleans for the guns we need them for the manpower to clean up and distribute food and things like that, theres very little they could do there with a gun (unless Michael Moore was there).

I mean:
“Widespread looting and random gunfire have been reported across New Orleans. Police told CNN that groups of armed men roamed the streets overnight.
Officers told CNN they lacked manpower and steady communications to properly do their jobs — and that they needed help to prevent the widespread looting and violence now prevalent in the city.
A police officer working in downtown New Orleans said police were siphoning gas from abandoned vehicles in an effort to keep their squad cars running, CNN’s Chris Lawrence reported.
The officer said police are “on their own” for food and water, scrounging up what they can from anybody who is generous enough to give them some — and that they have no communication whatsoever. Police also told CNN they were removing ammunition from looted gunshops in an effort to get it off the streets.”
