Johnny Depp on France
11.23.05Johnny Depp’s France Dance
Back in 2003 Johnny Depp said, “America is dumb, it’s like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive.”
Depp also said that he’d like his kids to see “America as a toy, a broken toy. Investigate it a little, check it out, get this feeling and then get out.”
A short while ago the actor left the U.S. for a tranquil life in France.
What a difference some youthful jihad in the streets makes.
A recent headline on the Contact Music Web site read: “Depp: ‘I can’t stay in riot ravaged France.’”
Depp described the riots in France as “insane,” stating that “setting cars on fire is the new strike.”
“I went there [to France] to live because it seemed so simple. Now it’s anything but. I don’t know how they’ll recover from this.”
The Left Coast Report says it’s a shame that it takes terrorism in the streets for Depp to realize what “seemed so simple” isn’t.
We really should ban these morons from coming back.

Yes, we should. I heard a joke about a hollywood version of CSI where each week a celebrity is indicted tried and aquitted. That has nothing to do with depp but its still very very true.

# November 24th, 2005 at 6:11 pmOh, what a paradise it seemed, eh Johnny? Raise the kids in France so they won’t have too much contact with ordinary Americans like me. Well, flyover country must look pretty good compared to France right about now. Are you going to start looking for a house here in Jesusland?
I still won’t watch, rent, or buy any of his movies. The “dumb puppy” comment was unforgivable. It shows the contempt that Depp has for his audience. But I still think we should let him back in the country. Unlike Jane Fonda, who should have her citizenship revoked and be deported. It doesn’t surprise me that Vietnam vets are still spitting in her face.
# November 27th, 2005 at 9:39 pmJust deportation? No torture session? Thats boring.
# November 28th, 2005 at 8:19 amWell you’re right, she did meet with an enemy government during wartime. Of course so did John Kerry. The Bush campaign could have nailed him to the wall a lot harder than they did with that one.
My grandpa hated commies and comsymps. When I was a little kid, he would about go apoplectic when Jane Fonda showed up on TV selling her workout videos. I was too young to understand why. Depp has said some stupid things, and that’s enough to keep me away from his movies, but as far as I know he’s not an actual communist traitor like some other Hollywood personality we know.
# November 28th, 2005 at 8:49 pmIf we could know the political opinions of every actor we would likely be appalled. Just like the over-paid athletes, actors are only employed to entertain, not lead. Those who agree with these people are either; A) Other millionaires that didn’t have to do any REAL work to earn their fortunes, or B) Subscibers to People magazine.
# December 5th, 2005 at 12:00 pmSo finally there’s a good coming from those 2 weeks of urban guerilla ! There are enough stupid treacherous nocive liberals in France like it is. Getting American ones is really overkill
Now on the matter of actors (or other artists’) political ideas… well they have a right to have one. Even one I can find offensive or plain dumb. Freedom works both ways or it isn’t freedom. One slogan lefties like is “no liberty for enemies of liberty” and of course THEY get to tell who’s who.
# January 2nd, 2006 at 4:15 amMore and more I boycott leftist artists or at least I don’t give them my money. I’d rather support sensible ones.
:shock:Thats intresting Das Kardinal. The Creator of this website……chad coleman of Puerto Rico, is the most extreme about this boycotting of you crazy dudes. One time, while enjoying a brew..I became sick of Chad telling me how my second favorite band….METALLICA…..were a bunch of pussy liberals…..so I fought him. It was awesome.
