One Day Left
11.30.05First off, I just wanna congratulate C.P. on the “Big ol’ Kentucky 9 point” he took, as well as Woods, who got himself a commifornia 8 point. (Where’d you shoot that at anyway? Camp Pendleton?)
I just walked in and kicked all the snow off my boots. Been out since 2, today. All this season, I’ve been chasin’ elk over mountains, pushin through the thick after deer, even road hunted some bear up around Spirit Lake. Tommorrows the last day of modern rifle season, and I’ve got jack squat to show for it.
Fellers have been takin deer left and right, but everytime I get out there, the only sure shots I can get are on private land. It’s a cryin shame.
I’m taking work off tommorrow, and spending the entire day tryin to fill my tag. Wish me luck.
Good luck, Chad! Makes me think of when me and my bro-in-law went hunting in Michigan a few months ago. We got up early and sat in a stand for hours, and never saw anything but a coyote. Then, a couple of weeks after I got back home to Oregon, he shoots me an email saying that he got one.

Woodchuck turds?” I was on a train up to Pismo Beach and I had to put the book down and go to the bathroom cuz everyone kept loking at me. I liked the book better cuz I think they coulda cast the movie better….that and they totally butchered the ending.
