Celebrate Black Monday

01.16.06

His true identity is Jamal Johnson, billionaire industrialist, playboy, and philanthropist. The childhood murder of his parents led him to train himself to the peak of physical and intellectual perfection, don a costume, and fight crime. Unlike many other superheroes, he does not possess superhuman powers or abilities; he makes use of his intellect, detective skills, technology, and physical prowess in his war on crime.

Fear him.

This is by far my most favorite rascist holiday.

I’m not sure what this is supposed to mean, but if you’re implying that the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday is “rascist”, then I’m disappointed.

About the link JJ posted- I think it’s a swell idea to celebrate “Civil Rights Day” instead of Martin Luther King Jr. However, to assert that the holiday exists only out of political correctness goes too far. The Civil Rights movement was arguably the most important political and social change to occur in the US in a long time, and he was its most prominent leader. The advances of the civil rights movement without much help from “whitey”, so don’t try and imply that King only gets recognition because he’s black.

Also, this business of his wild extramarital affairs seems very trumped up to me. I quote: “Later, the focus of the bureau’s investigations shifted to “discrediting” King through revelations regarding his private life.” The article also noted that the J. Edgar Hoover (who was no saint himself), and King had a “mutually antagonistic relationship.”
Sounds like the FBI was doing its level best to dig up dirt on King…

I’m pretty sure that America is the only country to go from complete slavery, and disregard for colored’s in 200 years time. Most countries still recognize this, and they’ve been around alot longer then us.

I think America has to be the most tolerant country in the world.

Also, nobody goes around calling George Washington’s birthday to be “white thursday”. Cos that would make us rascist.
