01.12.06So we went to get the sonogram today, with the ol’ lady. And it’s a female! Time to pick out a new shotgun! What do y’all suggest, that’s reasonably priced?

I highly suggest the Winchester 1300 youth model in .410. Good weight, very low kick, fun for daddy to shoot!
I just had a daughter in August, buddy you’ve got no idea what you’re in for. To be honest, I was dissapointed my first wasn’t going to be a boy. Now that she’s here, I couldn’t be more pleased.

# January 13th, 2006 at 2:48 pmI have a suggestion as far as the shotgun goes, any Mossberg 500 youth 20 gauge (pump). Short but it still has a good stock on it, light enough for kids, heavy enough that it wont give them too much of a kick. Had one when I was 12, brother was 10, still have it now at 17, i’m 6 foot and still use it with no problem. My dad uses it every once in a while when he gets bored with his cannon (Remington magnum, can take up to 4 inch shells) and hes 6′2″.
(Use Winchester or Remington shells with heavy plastic, Federal sh*t gets caught in the action cause its too light)
