Short but it still has a good stock on it, light enough for kids, heavy enough that it wont give them too much of a kick. Had one when I was 12, brother was 10, still have it now at 17, i'm 6 foot and still use it with no problem. My dad uses it every once in a while when he gets bored with his cannon (Remington magnum, can take up to 4 inch shells) and hes 6'2".
