Fish Report

06.29.2006

My smaller catchSo Jonas, myself, and a special guest (whom I’ll anounce in a week) went out fishin fer bass yesterday evening. And we did pretty good. After about an hour of not catching much, besides our guests couple little bluegill. Finally Jonas discovered the lure of choice, when he pulled in the biggest bass at that time. When we all started using them… the fish were large and biting!

I was actually in last place, until I pulled in the nice 3 pounder, and I gracefully finished in first.

Fish Report The Winner

My 24th

06.25.2006

Today is my special day and it’s almost 90 degrees. So… we’re goin to the lake. Takin’ the dogs and the beer and the baby, and we’re fixin’ to have a good time. We’re gonna see just how good little Pistol can handle treading water at 9 weeks of age.

I’ll even try to get some pics of him sinking like a rock.

Meet Custom Pistol

06.21.2006

This is my new bird dog. Custom PistolHe’s a 8 week old German Shorthair Pointer. My partner Jonas and I went out to deliver a spa to a guy out in the backwoods of Rathdrum. When we got there we spotted his kennel full of these purebred young pups. And we both wanted one. The females were selling for $500, and the males for $300. That was beyond our pocketbook. We both told the guy that if he coulden’t sell any, then call the billiard shop. To my excitement he called a week later. He talked to my dad and told him that I could take a male home.

So when I found out, I knew that Jonas had wanted a dog just as bad. And there was no reason why I should get the dog, and he shoulden’t. So I went back and told him that we get a puppy… but we get to flip a coin for him. I flipped, he called heads and won. So he was excited, and hurried to call his landlord. His landlord would have probably let him keep the dog, if it wasn’t a puppy. But he wanted a insane downpayment, cos puppies chew and poo. So he coulden’t afford it, and I humbly accepted the dog! We drove out to the guys ranch to pick up the puppy and his papers.

I’m learning up on the best tips and tricks to raising these guys correctly from the start. With a big thanks to Gun Dog Magazine. I need to subscribe to them. I’m chatting with a breeder and gundog trainer who specializes in GSP’s, about the training Pistol will need to be a good hunting partner. I need to wait a couple weeks, so that he’s a bit older, and the guy is gonna judge Pistols natural ability.

Where’s the Outrage?

06.20.2006

Firstly, my sympathy and prayers go out to the family members of the young soldiers who were tortured to death. These cowardly dogs will get whats coming to them, and this new leader will get exactly what al-Zarqawi got. If only we could torture them in a worse way. But that is what seperates us from these terrorists.

Who is to blame for this? The far left will tell you “it’s all America’s fault”. Well, how about rooting for the good guys for once, you liberal morons. [note - obviously I blame the terrorists above all, but] I believe it is the fault of the MSM, as well as these damned ‘human-rights’ organizations. Everything the MSM does is in no way supportive or constructive of their country. Borderline treachery. They swear that they no so much on how to run the war on terror. Does anyone here want the NY Times to be in charge of this war? Does anyone here want the damned NY Times to protect you from the islamo-fascist, sons of satan? And why hasn’t the MSM ever had an outcry against the terrorists? All they can do is bitch and whine about the measly abu garib, undies-on-the-head “scandel”. All the MSM can do is scream “Shut down Guantánamo!!! Torture!!!”

But where is their outrage when an American Soldier is tortured in ways you can’t even imagine? Eyes gouged out, diced into pieces. And they were alive. Lets see the MSM print a nice piece about how much crap we take from terrorists. We capture one of them, and they get nice room and board, hot meals. Hell, might as well give em cable tv.

One of our guys gets caught by the terrorists? The end. Not one of our service men has ever been captured, and returned alive. They are all brutally tortured and murdered. And the leftists, and America-hating mongrols can only badmouth America.

And these so-called “human rights” groups are a bunch of America hating tools. More like Terrorists Rights. And if there’s one word that really peeves me in the news, it’s “insurgents”. Just call them what they are guys. They’re worse than animals. These heartless, souless cretins will burn in hell for their attrocities and war crimes.

Time for the leaders of this war to set things straight. No Holds Barred. We enforce a curfew, and anyone who violates it, gets hot lead for a night cap. No more tying the hands of the military. Let em git in there, cut out the cancer and get out. Collateral damage is a necessary evil in cutting out cancer. But the more our hands are tied, the more servicemen will be captured and tortured.

God bless the soldiers, and the families of soldiers. Their sacrifice allows me the freedoms I have to sit in the safety of my home, and speak my piece. I will always support them, because there is nothing I can do to ever repay them. Nothing.

Defend Yourselves

06.14.2006

Another tragic story of a free people who refused to take the steps necessary in order to protect themselves, their children, and their grandchildren. Wisdom is learning from other peoples mistakes, so that you woulden’t become victim to the same. Alot of people think “Oh that could never happen to me or my family. We live in a nice neighborhood, and nobody gets robbed and murdered here.” Yea? well there’s always a first, and I woulden’t be surprised if the seven people now dead from this guy thought the same thing. Plan for peace, prepare for war. God charges us with the responsibility to protect the weak and defenseless. I do accept that responsibilty. Do you?

4 Wheelin

06.13.2006

4 Wheelin up Fernan Mtn We recently gained access to my hunting Partner Jonas’ inlaws 4 wheelers. They bought em a year ago, and we wanted to use them last hunting season. But they were still a bit too new to ask to borrow. Now that a year has gone by and there’s been some loveloss, we are able to hitch the trailer to the truck and take em out for ourselves!

So Jonas and his wife, and I headed up Fernan Mtn, in the Coeur d’Alene National Forest to check up on our tree stand that is still in construction stage. Took about an hour to get there from where we parked, and it sure beats hiking. Granted we could have taken the truck up further, but that ain’t as fun.

Anyhow, I’m havin a special guest comin’ over for a good ol’ north Idaho vacation at the end of the month. Most of you know him. So we’re plannin on some 4 wheelin’, varmint blastin, backwoods campin, beer drinkin, fly fishin, tall tale tellin and more. Maybe someday I’ll tell you just who it was. But fer now we’re just gonna keep him unsung.

06.03.2006 SOLDIER FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST MICHAEL MOORE FOR UNAUTHORIZED AND FALSE PORTRAYAL IN “DOCUMENTARY”

We’ve come to expect many things from Michael Moore, the deliriously anti-gun millionaire posing as populist who brought us such absurd and irresponsible works as “Bowling for Columbine,” “Stupid White Men,” “Dude, Where’s My Country?” and “Fahrenheit 9/11.” We’ve come to expect patronizing arrogance, blatant anti-Americanism, and flagrant lies.

Well, now he’s being called to account by Peter Damon, a double-amputee Iraq war veteran, who’s suing the rotund “documentary” filmmaker for $85 million, alleging that Moore manipulated an old NBC “Nightly News” interview to make Damon appear anti-war, and anti-President Bush in “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

“I just want everybody to know what kind of a guy Michael Moore is, and what kind of film this is,” said Damon, who strongly supports the President and the war in Iraq, and never agreed to be in the movie.

Damon’s lawsuit states, “The work creates a substantially fictionalized and falsified implication as a wounded serviceman who was left behind when Plaintiff was not left behind but supported, financially and emotionally, by the active assistance of the President, the United States and his family, friends, acquaintances and community.”

“It’s upsetting to him because he’s lived his life supportive of his government, he’s been a patriot, he’s been a soldier, and he’s now being portrayed in a movie that is the antithesis of all of that,” Damon’s lawyer, Dennis Lynch, said.

I’m surprised he didn’t do that along time ago. Seems kinda late in the game now, but better late then never I suppose.

06.03.2006 SENATE VERSION OF NATIONAL RIGHT-TO-CARRY BILL INTRODUCED

U.S. Senator George Allen (R-Va.) recently introduced S. 3275–the Senate version of H.R. 4547, a national Right-to-Carry (RTC) reciprocity bill that would provide national reciprocity for state carry licensees. This legislation would allow any person with a valid carry permit or license issued by a state to carry a concealed firearm in any other state if they meet certain criteria. The bill would not create a federal licensing system; it would simply require the states to recognize each other’s carry permits, just as they recognize drivers’ licenses.

Please be sure to contact your U.S. Senators at (202) 224-3121, and urge them to cosponsor and support S. 3275!

Hey, sweet. Does this mean that I can carry *cough legally cough* when visiting inlaws in california?? Thats the one place that I really feel the need to.

Micro Compact Spinger 45

06.10.2006

Micro Compact 1911My new carry peice. It is a dream come true for me. Jarrid and I met up with JJ and his little man at the Spokane Gun Show and we had a good time. I walked by a table with two 10 year old lookin kids, and this piece caught my eye. So I waited till their grandpa showed up and I haggled with him a abit. You might remember back sometime ago, that this bad boy made it to my weapons wishlist. And now this wish came true!

Used and a private transaction. Only $400 bucks. This was an offer I coulden’t refuse. It holds 7 with one in the chamber. And I glanced over the hi-cap mag that held 15, but it stuck out the bottom a good distance. Those kinda hi-cap mags aren’t really to be taken seriously. It’s more for the claim to own one. I didn’t buy it, but someday I might. Also this thing came with Colt brand grips on it. So I’m lookin around at fancy wood grips for it. I met a guy named Chad Ruseler who etches custom designs into grips and stocks. I might have him make me up something. But I also found this guy. Some very fancy work. Kinda spendy though. Or I could just go with Frank Castle grips!

Jarrid got himself a KelTec P40. A nice compact .40 caliber carry peice. So we headed to the pistol range I built in my folks backyard, and we got a feel for our new toys. We only shot at the swinging metal targets. Tomorrow we want to head back with paper targets and get ideas on our grouping. I’ll try and get some pics of the groups.

al-Zarqawi Killed

06.08.2006

Doesn’t that just give you the warm fuzzies deep down in yer gut? I know it does for me. There’s nothing as satisfying as freshly dead terrorists. Today is gonna be a good day for me. I’ll just enjoy this cup of joe, toast, and fox news reports.

Apparently, we dropped a 500 pound bomb where Zarqawi and seven of his filthy aides were hiding out. So I’d just like to congratulate the troops for a job well done. Go Team America!

The Star Spangled Banter
(Zarqawi Version)

Oh say did you see that bright flash of light?
You so proudly we nailed at the twilight’s last gleaming…
Though we bet you saw stars on your very last night,
O’er the networks we watched your ass silently steaming…
And the rockets red glare spreading your ass everywhere,
Gave proof through the night that you’re no longer there…
Oh say does our banter now waft o’er your grave,
From the land of the free and the home of the brave…

New Theme

06.08.2006

Just now.So I’m tryin this new theme on for size. I still gotta add the links to the other pages and such. I can actually switch the color on this to white as well. Some folks might prefer that, but I’m likin this black right now.

This theme only shows two posts on the front page. And with the rate that I’ve been posting lately, it just might work out. If you guys see anything else missing, lemme know. I’m still workin with ideas on this baby.

But this is where you all can have your say about it. Whether or not I’ll agree, I’m listening.

A knife in a gun fight

06.06.2006

This is actually old news. But it is pretty tough, and I decided it really needs to grace the pages of PTA.

ATLANTA — A former Marine cook was acting in fear of his life and will not face charges for fatally stabbing one teenager and wounding a second while fending off a robbery in Midtown Atlanta by a group of youths armed with two guns and a pair of brass knuckles. Full Story »

I’m pretty sure that there are way too many people out there who think that this marine should have surrendered like a frenchmen, and gave them everything, possibly even taking a few blows to the face. Thank God our miltary is not run by those same candy assed clowns.

I’m Bored

06.06.2006

I’m wearing thin these days. I need something to motivate me. I know I’m busy and all, but I used to find great pleasure in offending the leftists commie dogs of “the innernets”. But after a couple years, my interest in it has slowly began to wind down. Seeing some reactionary leftist tool spazing out because I printed a awesomely un-PC joke no longer holds that special place in my heart. It’s old news. They’re all the same. Mindless machines following after eachother. Blind leading the blind.

I need some new kinda kick. Something to inspire me. I’m too occupied in living in the real world, that I don’t have the time, inspiration, anger, or conviction to produce a decent post on this website, lately. I feel kinda washed up on it.

Granted I love talking with all you guys. I swear, I feel like I’ve known you all personally for quite some time. It’s weird. But I do have fun with you all. You guys crack me up. Especially when someone comes along and sets my good friend JJ off into a tangent of rhetoric spouting and demoting competitions. I really do love that part.

This site started out as just a place for family and a few friends. Now it’s so dern public, that I have to be careful of the personal info that I put out on here. I have to actually think about keeping my address safe. Not that I woulden’t mind some honky comin’ over to exchange a few words/blows/bullets etc. But now I got a baby, and that changes all the rules. Being responsible for life is definetly an eye opener for me.

So what now? I’m not thinking about shutting anything down. Maybe just switching it up. That might re-ignite my interest in the good time of bad-mouthing the left, and other gun talk. Ah hell. I haven’t even been down to the range in a good while. I really am washed up. hah.

So I guess I just need to find a new groove. I’m not sure what it is. I might not even find it, and just continue on like usual. Maybe I just need a new theme for this place. I think this one is at the end of the line for me. Or I just need to focus on writing up some real editorials. I do enjoy doing that, with the backwoods flavor that I tend to insert. The only problem with editorials… they always seem to be a repeat of what every other like-minded feller is writing.

I dunno. I need some inspiration. I’m bored.
