Having said that, they've also been the most mixed-up & atypical collection of dogs...... e.g. the pair of ex guard-dog Dobermanns who greeted everyone with slobber & wagging stumps.....the German Spitz - 4lbs when wet - who wants to kill & eat anyone who dares walk up to our door (the postman loves her!)........the pair of Alsatians who adopted (and vice-versa) our local kindergarten group, to the extent that the kids would run to the dogs for comfort, rather than the staff...... http://passtheammo.com/wp-images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif :grin: And finally our only non-german dog, the English Springer Spaniel, who is not only gun-shy but has the I.Q. of a wood pigeon......Pluto is a genius by comparison!
