he’s firing a barrett .50 cal sniper rifle, which is made for long range smackdowns. he looked like he wasnt 75 yards from his target and you can here them saying “we’re not using iron anymore” which tells you they were probably trying to punch a hole through a piece of iron and all they got was a crummy ricochet. it doesnt matter if it hit the ground first by the way because it still had plenty of velocity to split his head in half if it would have hit him instead of his hearing protection.
