Jonas and I went out to setup his trail camera. Turkey and Bear both open up in a couple weeks. The snow is still pretty bad, so we didn’t get out there. But I did get a couple pics of some whitetails.

I really do love WordPress, and all of its funtionality and features. Hopefully asides will encourage me to talk a smack a little more often.

Apparently this Jack Hole hasn’t been through airport security before, or he might have known that security has the magic of xray vision goggles.

TAMPA - A 21-year-old Clearwater man was arrested at Tampa International Airport this weekend after security personnel found a box cutter in a hollowed-out book, authorities said.

If convicted, Baines faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine for a federal charge of attempting to board an airplane with a concealed dangerous weapon. He is currently serving a 30 day sentence after pleading guilty Monday to a state misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

This kid is an idiot. But I would have preferred him be able to board, only to have every other passenger armed with the same or better. Because it would only happen a few times, before these bad guys would learn. Don’t mess around on a airplane. If only the wolves knew that people didn’t mess around, attacks would be more sparse.

I’ve been reading all over the net about peoples experiences with airport security. They bitch and moan about it, but top it off with a “It’s so great that America is doing it’s job keeping me safe”.

1. America may have the responsibility of protection against enemies foreign and domestic, but removing your right to self defense is not one of them.

2. Even with America working to protect you, in the end it is still your sole responsibility to take care of yourself. Not Uncle Sams. Not the POH-leese. You. Take care of your own sorry ass. That means using the tools provided (read weapons).

With every “Gun Free Zone” school shooting, I tell people there will be more. It is a fad now, and I encourage every Senator, Governor, Congressman to work toward permitting Concealed Carry on Campus’ in their state. I am writing Idaho’s leaders.

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) - If there is such a thing as a profile of a mass murderer, Stephen Kazmierczak didn’t fit it: outstanding student, engaging, polite and industrious, with what looked like a bright future in the criminal justice field.

And yet on Thursday, the 27-year-old Kazmierczak, armed with three handguns and a brand-new pump-action shotgun he had carried onto campus in a guitar case, stepped from behind a screen on the stage of a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University and opened fire on a geology class. He killed five students before committing suicide.

Everyone is outraged by the security cam footage of the officeress who dumped a cripple out of his wheelchair, because she didn’t believe he couldn’t walk. And rightly so. Thats messed up.

I just watched the Fox news video interview with the victim Brian Sterner, 32, and the guy is a douche. Firstly, he was eluding police in his vehicle. they were pulling him over, I’m guessing cos he failed to show for court on a previous violation. so he was evading cops. dumbass.

The fox news interviewer asked him why the cops were trying to pull him over and he responds with things like “i don’t know, i’m not the sheriff” and “i don’t know, i didn’t bring my crystal ball today”

It’s still messed up to dump a cripple, but I can understand the temptation with this guy!

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) - A gunman with a history of acrimony against civic leaders stormed City Hall during a council meeting Thursday night, killing two police officers and three city officials before law enforcers fatally shot him, authorities said. The mayor was critically injured in the rampage.

The victims at the meeting in suburban St. Louis were killed after the gunman rushed the council chambers and began firing as he yelled “Shoot the mayor!” according to St. Louis County Police spokeswoman Tracy Panus. Two people were wounded before Kirkwood police fatally shot him, she said.

Once again, a bunch of disarmed citizens lose to the armed criminal.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - In the latest example that the U.S. dollar just ain’t what it used to be, some shops in New York City have begun accepting euros and other foreign currency as payment for merchandise.

“We had decided that money is money and we’ll take it and just do the exchange whenever we can with our bank,” Robert Chu, owner of East Village Wines, told Reuters television.

The increasingly weak U.S. dollar, once considered the king among currencies, has brought waves of European tourists to New York with money to burn and looking to take advantage of hugely favorable exchange rates.
