I must say that I am a Barrbarian (get it, BARRbarian)… yea, so to all the folks who think a vote for Bob Barr is a vote for Obama, it really doesnt ring true to this man’s ear. I fell for that with Dubya.
With this line of thinking we will never get out of the 2 party Big Government Socialist vs. Big Government Neocon presidential power struggle. The way I see it we are screwed either way with either of these nominees. McCain prolly wont screw us as hard as Obama, true. But what we have seen in the Republican Party for many many years is a frog slowly being boiled in the pot. A party who calls itself conservative, yet each year moves further and further away from conservative principles.
So, should McCain win, we will be the frog in the pot, still getting hotter and hotter till we are frog soup. Should Obama win, we’ll have our asses boiled quicker than you can say “Obama is the second coming of Christ.” Either way we are screwed.
So do we settle for status-quo and be CULPABLE for our lesser of two evil ballot we cast for John McCain? Or do we start educating people on freedom and go out and get our country back? I vote for the latter. That’s why I will vote for Bob Barr in November. There has never been a more perfect time for a third party to rise out of the ashes of the tragedy that we see displayed in DC.
It’s a compelling video, but how can a vote for Bob Barr or Ron Paul do anything other than throw the 2008 election for Barack Obama?
# June 29th, 2008 at 2:34 amWho want to carry the war mongering Rethug agenda?
# June 29th, 2008 at 8:11 am@steadyrock - i agree that a vote for either, would be a vote for obama. Its just gonna be so painful for me to vote mccain.
@alistair - do even you know what you’re talking about?
