Ryder Gets Circumsized
07.15.08Yesterday, Ryder’s baby bits went under the axe. He actually took it like a champ, for the most part.
And for those who missed the twitter discourse.
passtheammo - Ryder is diggin the circumcision. He said he notices the reduction in wind speed, as well as the low torque and minimal drag.
rthefish - Tell him he doesn’t need the restrictor plate.
passtheammo - restrictor plate gone. he now has suped-up, high performance, competition grade baby junk.

Chad, you know Christians aren’t supposed to cut off their son’s boy parts…

It’s really more of a Jewish and Muslim thing, isn’t it?
Glad he’s doing well though.

# July 16th, 2008 at 11:41 pmHAHAHA!!!
# July 16th, 2008 at 11:56 pmI ain’t mutilating my son’s genitals. Seems like a ridiculously archaic practice with zero modern utility at all. I can’t believe anyone not Jewish still does that.
My daughter, however, will be circumcised and wear a burkha til she’s 30.

I am with Heath… that made me laugh!

# July 17th, 2008 at 8:07 am@Dave - Interesting article. I didn’t read it all, mostly because I don’t see this as a even remotely important issue for Christians. And “forbidden” might be a bit strong.
@Guav - You gotta covered wagon! bwa haha!
# July 18th, 2008 at 9:32 amChad, I believe the “covered wagon” folks prefer the term “anteater”.
# July 18th, 2008 at 2:37 pmOside, sorry to offend.
I actually never realized there was such a huge debate over the matter, till I just researched it. But I do know my moms brother had to be circumsized around age 30, for medical reasons.
And I was just chatting with my boss’ dad about it, and he also had to be circumsized as an adult for medical reasons. He was also tellin me about when he was in the army, there were a couple of musilim guys who were not cut, and they were filthy. No one would let them in the pool, and they eventually took a gnarly brush to em.
I’m just glad that Ryder will have no painful memories of it, and it’ll be much cleaner for him.
# July 18th, 2008 at 3:01 pmI honestly believe that while that article was good proof why Christians do not “have to” get their ICBMs modified, it does not prove that we cannot. All I get is the freedom that Paul talks about… not any condemnation of the practice.
# July 18th, 2008 at 3:15 pmYou guys are talking about weiners…
# July 18th, 2008 at 6:59 pmI also researched the topic a bit after reading that article. I think it is an issue of being to each his own. We are not held accountable to the Old Testament Laws, but I could not find the scripture that says it would be blasphemous to adhere to the practice still. Tough call… still, I think it is safe to say that circumcision will not be a factor on whether or not one will gain admittance to heaven.
# July 18th, 2008 at 10:53 pm… and Heath: you are RETARDED!
# July 18th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
Hey Im not the one discussing wieners….
# July 19th, 2008 at 5:20 amBut you are the one who always thinks about them…
# July 21st, 2008 at 10:19 amWhat I think about is only the Thought Police’s business..
# July 21st, 2008 at 11:52 amI thought that the Thought Police were only here in CA.
# July 21st, 2008 at 11:59 amno way dude…I work for them and they’re pretty much everywhere
