Glenn Beck The Demogogue
09.15.09Ron Paul calls it as is in this video. I’ve been hearing a lot from my neo-conservative friends and family how Glenn Beck is such a Constitutionalist and how he’s going after Obama when nobody else will. As we can see in this video, Glenn Beck states he’s a Constitutionalist while supporting filth like the Patriot Act and the Bailout™ in the classic neocon manner. Don’t be fooled by this guy.
Thanks for the heads up, being a new Beck fan that’s interesting however, I can’t help but wonder if you could show him supporting everything by taking short clips of him being sarcastic and pretending to agree with something when he’s actually making fun of it… seen plenty of that already.
# September 15th, 2009 at 3:05 pmI’ve never considered Beck a libertarian. Rush, Ingraham, Savage, Hannity, they’re all conservatives of one shape or another. And generally enjoyable to listen to for their entertainment.
When you really look at what liberty means, you find it at odds with what your ideology, left or right, holds dear. That’s where the battles within lie, because you have to shed those things to get to what it means to be free.
There are few politicians alive who have a clue.
Oh to travel back in time and bring James Madison back to speak to Congress.
