Anti-Gun Senator RC Soles Shoots Home Invader

05.12.2010

R.C. Soles Anti-Gun Senator
TABOR CITY, N.C. — A sheriff says a North Carolina state senator shot one of two intruders at his home and hospital officials say the man is in fair condition.
Multiple media outlets reported that Columbus County Sheriff Chris Batten said that 74-year-old Sen. R.C. Soles of Tabor City shot Kyle Blackburn late Sunday afternoon.

A spokeswoman at Loris Community Hospital in South Carolina said Monday that Blackburn was in fair condition.

Batten says the shooting occurred when two men went to the senator’s house and tried to kick in his front door. No charges have been filed.

The sheriff’s office said the State Bureau of Investigation was handling the case. A call to an agency spokeswoman was not immediately returned. There was no answer at a number listed for Soles’ home.

The Democrat has been in the Senate 32 years.

Real Men Wear Kilts

There are kilts… then there are Survival Utilikilts! A bit spendy. You’d think since it’s not that much material, they’d be better priced. But still awesome!

Glenn Beck The Demogogue

09.15.2009

Ron Paul calls it as is in this video. I’ve been hearing a lot from my neo-conservative friends and family how Glenn Beck is such a Constitutionalist and how he’s going after Obama when nobody else will. As we can see in this video, Glenn Beck states he’s a Constitutionalist while supporting filth like the Patriot Act and the Bailout™ in the classic neocon manner. Don’t be fooled by this guy.

Deadly Gun Safety Lesson

05.21.2009

Safety wasn’t much applied at this particular gun safety lesson. If you own a gun, it is a very good thing to practice safety and teach it often. Just hold to the 4 rules and you will never end up like this guy.

Tucson, Arizona | 05.17.2009 - A 26-year-old Phoenix man accidentally killed himself early Sunday morning while explaining gun safety to two Sierra Vista residents.
Samuel Benally Jr. was at an apartment on West Tacoma Street when he said people should keep their guns unloaded because someone could point it at their heads, said Sierra Vista police Sgt. Brett Mitchell.
Benally then demonstrated by putting his own .9 mm Rueger, which he believed to be unloaded, to his head and firing it, Mitchell said.
Benally was flown to University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased, Mitchell said.
An investigation is ongoing; police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved, Mitchell said.

Isle Royale Wolves Take Moose

04.06.2009

A pack of wolves are spotted taking down a moose in the Isle Royale National Park. As this is an island national park, it isn’t that big of a deal. But here in Idaho, wolves have more and more encroached on our role of keeping deer and elk numbers down.

Instead of the state receiving money from hunters to hunt these animals, the damn wolves take them down by the masses. Time to get rid of this pestilence. Idaho approved the first wolf hunt this September. Let us hope that the fascist animal rights activists don’t screw it up again.

Idaho Workplace Protection Bill

Please Contact Your State Representative!

The NRA and the Idaho Sport Shooting Alliance have been working with the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) and the Boise Chamber of Commerce to defend your right to protect yourself and your family.

The recently drafted “Employer Liability Act” would prohibit an employer from banning the lawful storage of firearms in an employee’s locked vehicle. This bill has not yet been assigned a bill number and time is running out for it to pass this session. Idaho’s business organizations have joined us in supporting this legislation. Now, the members of the legislature need to hear from you on this important issue.

Please contact the members of the Idaho House of Representatives today and respectfully urge them to support the “Employer Liability Act.” Click here for contact information for the members of the Idaho House of Representatives.

Idaho Wolves Kill Cougar

03.06.2009

According to Garwood, the confrontation likely pitted the solitary, 2-year-old male cougar against an unknown number of wolves from the Phantom Hill pack. Tipped off by nearby residents, the seasoned officer found the crumpled remains of the big cat near the carcass of a cow elk it had likely been feeding on before its fateful encounter.
