So I jumped on the bandwagon and signed up for twitter awhile ago. View my profile. I’ve found no one of interest to actually follow, until I just read Steve’s post that he has it. So it could possibly be more interesting. I guess not following anyone, is basically myspace with no friends. Its lame.
So if anyone else out there has a twitter account, feel free to follow me, as I look to follow you. 
I guess this doesn’t really surprise me… but it does. The Valtrex commercials always show the people hang gliding, rock climbing, and doing other outside activities. Maybe this means New Yorkers will be able to get out of the city more often.
This actually happened back in May, but its always a good reminder to NOT user your 44 Magnum for a back scratcher. Especially after you’ve been drinking beer all night.
I could be wrong, but my gut tells me otherwise.
A Fort Worth man trying to scratch an itch on his back used a revolver and accidentally shot himself.
Jorge Espinal, 44, was drinking beer and playing poker around 3 a.m. Sunday in his home in the 3500 block of Montague Street, when he got up from the table and walked into another room, said Fort Worth police Lt. Kenneth Dean.
“He told officers he had an itch on his back and grabbed the first thing he could get a hold of, which was a revolver,” Lt. Dean said. “The gun went off.”
Mr. Espinal went back and told his buddies that he shot himself. “They didn’t believe him until they saw the blood coming down his back,” Lt. Dean said.
Mr. Espinal was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries. Source.
On the upside, his itchy spot was completely gone!

I can be a critical bastard when it comes to movies. Even on fantastical movies like Indiana Jones, I have a hard time letting st00pid stuff go. If they’re gonna make me stop enjoying the movie, and think to myself “That was the most ridiculous idea ever. Way to go speilberg”. Then its a crappy movie.
My opinion has been, that The Last Crusade, and Raiders of the Lost Arc, were both great movies! Temple of Doom, kinda weaksauce.
This will be a spoiler for some of you who haven’t seen the movie, but here are my points of beef with it.

As mama always said “Gun cleanliness is next to Godliness”, we must always take responsibility of the safety factor while cleaning.
Yesterday, a Boise man was cleaning his 45 when it discharged and struck the sleeping neighbor in the leg. Extremely careless on his part, but it can and does happen to people. Only a proper fear and respect for a firearm will prevent such mistakes.

On the recording provided by The Advocate, an actor portraying a donor said he wanted his money used to eliminate black unborn children because “the less black kids out there the better.”
Kersey laughed nervously and said: “Understandable, understandable. … Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I’ve had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I’m excited and want to make sure I don’t leave anything out.”
well… at least she’s honest, unlike the rest of Planned Parenthood.

Just to clarify something, blatant racism is alive and well across the whole world, since the dawn of… well… the world.

TAMPA - A 21-year-old Clearwater man was arrested at Tampa International Airport this weekend after security personnel found a box cutter in a hollowed-out book, authorities said.If convicted, Baines faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine for a federal charge of attempting to board an airplane with a concealed dangerous weapon. He is currently serving a 30 day sentence after pleading guilty Monday to a state misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
This kid is an idiot. But I would have preferred him be able to board, only to have every other passenger armed with the same or better. Because it would only happen a few times, before these bad guys would learn. Don’t mess around on a airplane. If only the wolves knew that people didn’t mess around, attacks would be more sparse.
I’ve been reading all over the net about peoples experiences with airport security. They bitch and moan about it, but top it off with a “It’s so great that America is doing it’s job keeping me safe”.
1. America may have the responsibility of protection against enemies foreign and domestic, but removing your right to self defense is not one of them.
2. Even with America working to protect you, in the end it is still your sole responsibility to take care of yourself. Not Uncle Sams. Not the POH-leese. You. Take care of your own sorry ass. That means using the tools provided (read weapons).
Today we found out we’re having a boy! The ultrasound people sent us home with a CD containing video. Pretty fancy pants stuff, they got goin on these days.
