The Price Of Complacency
01.11.2009It’s important to recognize the cost that our forefathers paid. Our culture and country has become complacent with what we have, and what we expect from our government. Total Depravity has taught us something very important, on what we as human beings are capable of.
I thought about our current situation in America, and the freedoms we enjoy. Are we not blessed, by the fruits of the blood of our founding fathers? No one understands tyranny and oppression as somebody who has escaped from it. It is important that we are reminded of the cost of freedom, and the importance to remain ever vigilant.
As our country ages, we face a more dangerous threat to our simple freedoms that you and I take for granted on a daily basis. I encourage you to watch this series, and realize what we are capable of. You and I cannot understand the struggle and hardship that an average North Korean civilian struggles with. We’ve been granted a blessing from God, and there is no other way of looking at it.
I encourage you to watch this documentary and consider the importance of preserving your most basic freedoms.

01.04.2009What Gun Should I Get?
12.16.2008“I am gun-ignorant on any practical level. I would like a hand gun for home protection, fun/practice, and as another way to meet and connect with other men locally.”
I am occasionally asked “What gun should I buy?” by different people who are interested in purchasing a first sidearm. Usually by friends or acquaintances that know me as a gun guy. I decided to post an email response that I sent to a friend in Illinois who recently asked. Maybe I can refer other people who ask to to this post. Read the rest of this entry »

Why I Carry A Gun
12.01.2008I don’t carry a gun because I love it. I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Here’s a great bit of understanding on why good guys carry a gun. This was sent to me via email, and the author is unknown.

My old grandpa said to me son,’ there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps and usually it’s when he becomes too old to take an ass whoopin’. I don’t carry a gun to kill people. I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don’t carry a gun to scare people. I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid. I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil. I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.
I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government. I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry. I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone. I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m a cowboy. I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.
I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man. I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate. I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don’t carry a gun because I love it. I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.
Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin’.

Supremes To Review Citizenship Arguments
11.24.2008A case that challenges President-elect Barack Obama’s name on the 2008 election ballot citing questions over his citizenship has been scheduled for a “conference” at the U.S. Supreme Court.
“Questions surrounding this aspect of Obama’s candidacy are seemingly beginning to see the light of day”
Conferences are private meetings of the justices at which they review cases and decide which ones to accept for formal review. This case is set for a conference Dec. 5, just 10 days before the Electoral College is scheduled to meet to make formal the election of Obama as the nation’s next president.
The Supreme Court’s website listed the date for the case brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the secretary of state in New Jersey, over not only Obama’s name on the 2008 election ballot but those of two others, Sen. John McCain and Roger Calero. Read more…
2.3 Million Jobs Lost to China since 2001
11.20.2008“Since China gained entry into the World Trade Organization in 2001, the United States has lost millions of good-paying jobs. This new study shows how trade with China, on their terms, is undermining hard-working American families’ earnings. This is an unbalanced trade relationship that must be changed, and Congress should act now.”

There won’t be much left for our children and our children’s children, because we are allowing both Republican and Democrat politicians sodomize our country with blatant disregard for the founding documents.
