Safety wasn’t much applied at this particular gun safety lesson. If you own a gun, it is a very good thing to practice safety and teach it often. Just hold to the 4 rules and you will never end up like this guy.
Tucson, Arizona | 05.17.2009 - A 26-year-old Phoenix man accidentally killed himself early Sunday morning while explaining gun safety to two Sierra Vista residents.
Samuel Benally Jr. was at an apartment on West Tacoma Street when he said people should keep their guns unloaded because someone could point it at their heads, said Sierra Vista police Sgt. Brett Mitchell.
Benally then demonstrated by putting his own .9 mm Rueger, which he believed to be unloaded, to his head and firing it, Mitchell said.
Benally was flown to University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased, Mitchell said.
An investigation is ongoing; police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved, Mitchell said.

You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions. Not that it will do you any good. Do you understand?
Anything you do say, or we say you say if we have more witnesses than you, will be used against you in a court of law, if we think we can get away with it. Do you understand?
You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. You will not have a chance to challenge our lack of standards or scientific method in our lab results and your expert witness will not be allowed to witness anything if we can help it. Do you understand?
At least, according to the 7th Circut Court of Appeals and the punk thugs at the ATF. Read about Olofson’s old AR-15 malfunctioning with a burst of ammo. He’s now in a 30-month prison sentence, and a court battle for owning a “unregistered machine gun”.

A pack of wolves are spotted taking down a moose in the Isle Royale National Park. As this is an island national park, it isn’t that big of a deal. But here in Idaho, wolves have more and more encroached on our role of keeping deer and elk numbers down.
Instead of the state receiving money from hunters to hunt these animals, the damn wolves take them down by the masses. Time to get rid of this pestilence. Idaho approved the first wolf hunt this September. Let us hope that the fascist animal rights activists don’t screw it up again.

Please Contact Your State Representative!
The NRA and the Idaho Sport Shooting Alliance have been working with the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) and the Boise Chamber of Commerce to defend your right to protect yourself and your family.
The recently drafted “Employer Liability Act” would prohibit an employer from banning the lawful storage of firearms in an employee’s locked vehicle. This bill has not yet been assigned a bill number and time is running out for it to pass this session. Idaho’s business organizations have joined us in supporting this legislation. Now, the members of the legislature need to hear from you on this important issue.
Please contact the members of the Idaho House of Representatives today and respectfully urge them to support the “Employer Liability Act.” Click here for contact information for the members of the Idaho House of Representatives.

ORIGINAL CAPTION: My son in law today saw about 20 army guys with full combat gear walking down the street in Hayden, Idaho. He took pictures and asked them what they were doing. ‘They said they were just training. One of the troopers was carrying a saw or squad automatic weapon. Is this just training or is it getting the people used to seeing troops patroling the streets. My son in law lives about a mile from the reserve unit at the airport. my son in law was kind of surprised to see those guys. I”ve lived in the Hayden area most of my life and never saw any patrols. I really have no idea what these guys were doing “training” in a residential neighborhood. If they need to train, they can do it on their “training grounds”. But this definitely brings to mind the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act which Bush destroyed, along with all the other freedoms that the “Patriot” Act polished off.
Most people really couldn’t care less that our politicians and leaders come under no condemnation for disobeying the very rules our founding fathers died to install. If this stuff doesn’t bother you, than I can only quote the patriot Samuel Adams.
If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

It’s important to recognize the cost that our forefathers paid. Our culture and country has become complacent with what we have, and what we expect from our government. Total Depravity has taught us something very important, on what we as human beings are capable of.
I thought about our current situation in America, and the freedoms we enjoy. Are we not blessed, by the fruits of the blood of our founding fathers? No one understands tyranny and oppression as somebody who has escaped from it. It is important that we are reminded of the cost of freedom, and the importance to remain ever vigilant.
As our country ages, we face a more dangerous threat to our simple freedoms that you and I take for granted on a daily basis. I encourage you to watch this series, and realize what we are capable of. You and I cannot understand the struggle and hardship that an average North Korean civilian struggles with. We’ve been granted a blessing from God, and there is no other way of looking at it.
I encourage you to watch this documentary and consider the importance of preserving your most basic freedoms.

In yet another example of hostility towards lawful firearm owners, the Obama transition team is weeding out applicants for White House positions who own firearms themselves, or who come from firearm owning families.

If this is how he feels, then I’m sure he’ll be consistent and disarm his secret service bodyguards as well. Wait… no, that can’t be right.
